So, you’ve got some digestive health issues, and you don’t know what to do about them. Or maybe you need some more clarity on what the problems actually are? The first thing to do is to start keeping an accurate and honest food diary. It’s pretty simple – log everything you eat, when, and how you feel. Make sure it includes everything you are putting in your body, including drinks, drugs and supplements.

After a few weeks you should be able to see patterns emerging, and be able to identify specific foods, drinks, supplements or situations that are contributing to symptoms. From this you can start to make informed decisions about changes to your diet and lifestyle, and you will have an accurate record to show to a practitioner should you choose to engage one to help you on your journey back to good health.
